Niam is searching for talented Investment Interns to join our dynamic team in Helsinki for 2025. At Niam, we offer a rewarding experience, combining a performance-driven culture with a supportive and inclusive workplace.

We offer you two cycles to join our team, Spring 2025 or Autumn 2025 and we are looking for two interns for each cycle.

What You'll Gain:

As Niam´s Investment Intern, you'll get a unique introduction to the real estate and private equity investment industry. You'll have the opportunity to actively participate and gain hands-on experience in investment processes and assist in managing our existing portfolio. We are an active player in the market, and we hold a diverse investment portfolio, ensuring you a rewarding experience with us.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will involve various aspects of real estate and private equity, including:

Market, portfolio, and investment analysis
Visualizing and presenting technical and financial data to stakeholders
Assisting in transaction execution or preparation
Supporting senior team members in projects and daily tasks
Managing key documents in transaction and portfolio management
Updating internal datasets and documents
Conducting ad hoc analysis and tasks

The position is full-time and based in Niam’s office in Helsinki CBD and paid in accordance with industry recommendations.

We are seeking candidates who:

Have a strong interest for real estate, private equity or M&A
Take responsibility and pay close attention to detail
Are collaborative team players who contribute positively to our company culture
Possess excellent written and spoken language skills
Demonstrate good judgment and critical thinking
Excel in problem-solving and proactive solution suggestions
Have a curiosity to understand drivers and their impact on different outcomes

Requirements:

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field of study, for example finance, economics or engineering. However, we appreciate applicants from all academic backgrounds. Recently graduated applicants are also considered.
Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage, with English and other Nordic languages preferred
Strong academic performance record
Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point
