ICECAPITAL - Investment Banking Analyst

We are now looking for an enthusiastic full-time Investment Banking Analyst to join our M&A/corporate finance team in Helsinki.

ICECAPITAL, established in 1999, is an independent, fully employee-owned Group operating in the Nordic countries within investment banking and real estate private equity. The Group has offices in Helsinki and Stockholm and currently employs around 30 professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing complex financial models for analysis and valuation of companies

• Preparation of high-quality presentations and other materials for clients and investors

• Analyzing detailed company and market related information

• Taking responsibility of defined work streams in all stages of transactions from pitching to execution

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED

• Strong academic background with a relevant master’s degree (or close to graduation) in Economics (majoring in e.g. finance or accounting) or Engineering

• Analytical, hardworking, and goal-oriented mindset

• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance

• Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Financial modelling skills considered beneficial

• Multi-tasking and ability to work both independently and as a part of a team

• Fluency in Finnish and English as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Working experience in investment banking, corporate banking, financial markets or management consulting considered a plus, but not a prerequisite

• Genuine interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors as well as prior experience from the sectors is regarded as a plus
