OUR MISSION AND VISION
HankInvest delivers substantial value in terms of career guidance to Hanken students and is the only actor that specifically focuses on connecting Hanken students with the very competitive industries of investment banking, management consulting and related industries.
Our main purpose is to help Hanken students in forming and reaching their career goals, we do this by organizing two excursions abroad, various events both independently and in co-operation with different companies and by distributing relevant information to students. HankInvest is completely student-driven, the board consisting of 12 students who run the activities of HankInvest.
Our main goal for 2025 is to attract more young students to our events and enhance Hanken students application & interview readiness. Furthermore, we wish to promote the Hanken Students Brand and raise awareness for our focus industries.
HANKINVEST BOARD 2026
Otto Kotola
Otto is a third-year student at Hanken School of Economics and will be acting as Co-Vice President of HankInvest for 2026. Together with Hugo and Edward, he will be responsible for developing and overseeing HankInvest’s operations throughout the year. His key responsibilities include organizing the Annual Seminar and London excursion.
In the winter, you’ll find Otto on the slopes, reliving his days as a “professional alpine skier”, or at the nearby alpine hütte, enjoying great company and some refreshing drinks. When summer arrives, he swaps his skis for adrenaline, diving into new extreme sports challenges to keep things exciting and his well-being on its toes. He’s always up for trying something new, meeting interesting people, and creating unforgettable memories along the way.
